We transfer these cookies via your web browser to the hard drive of your computer where we store them during your current visit and for a period of up to one year beyond that to enable us to read them. Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.

During your website visit, the following data is recorded, among others:

  • Your behavior on the pages (for example, dwell time, clicks, scrolling behavior)
  • Your approximate location (country and city)
  • Your IP address (in shortened form, so that no clear assignment is possible)
  • Technical information such as browser, Internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution
  • Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or via which advertising material you came to us)

No personal data such as name, address or contact details are ever transferred to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognized during future website visits.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

Google Ads and Conversion Tracking

If you agree, our website uses the Google Ads service of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland; parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Ads enables us to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Ads). This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are. These advertising media are delivered by Google via so-called "Ad Servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as display of the ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your end device. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. For this cookie, the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values. These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer's website and the cookie stored on his computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Ads customers' websites.

We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising tools; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. Information on how Google processes your data can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en.
